The American cemetery in Nettuno, in the Lazio region nearby Isola Verde Camping Nettuno Rome, is a military cemetery dedicated to the fallen American soldiers who fought during the Second World War.
It was first built as a temporary cemetery, in Nettuno on the 24th January 1944, only two days from the start of Shingle operation (landing in Anzio), in the Tyrrhenian sea on the stretch of coast running from Lido dei Pini to Torre Astura.
